We transition you!  We work closely with you to ensure a smooth, successful transition to Snap Tools across your company. 

Our transition services include the following:

Technical interface for IT

Typically your company’s IT department will test the Snap Client against your own computing environment and then package it for mass deployment. While this process is straightforward, it can require time, energy and diplomacy to engage IT and get the green light.  We provide technical specifications, the Snap Client to test, and ongoing contact with our IT professional people to answer any questions IT might have and resolve any issues. 

Bringing your IT colleagues into the loop early can be quite valuable -once they grasp the potential of the Snap solution to reduce email storage requirements, they can even become advocates.

Note: for deployment to smaller groups of people, individual users can self-install by clicking on a link to download and run the client installer.

 

Change Management Assistance

While implementing Snap Tools is easy, the resulting change in communications is significant for both your administrators and your audience – administrators need to become proficient using the new Tools, and users need to adapt to receiving and responding to communications in brand new ways! 

While you know best as to what will work for your organization, we can advise on roll-out scenarios (phased deployment by group, phased deployment by Tool, a Big Bang, etc.) and contribute our previous experience successfully rolling out the Snap solution to other clients.

We recommend broadcasting an explanatory SnapShot and SnapTicker to debut your new messaging to staff.

 

Administrator Training

This is included as part of the Snap solution.  Apart from the unlimited online tutorials and user guides, we provide extensive web-based training/tutorial sessions as well as face-to-face training at your offices.  The total hours included will be based on your administrator and user numbers.

 

Technical Support

Should any issues arise during your roll out of the Snap solution full technical support is provided.

 

*Transition Services for non-ASP roll outs – for a few customers, the Snap managed, hosted solution is not tenable, and you will require that the Snap infrastructure be run and managed in-house by your own IT department.  The transition process for this type of roll out is very different – it would involve comprehensive project management and a full deployment plan.  Please contact us if you’d like more information on transition services for non-hosted solutions!

Ongoing Training

We train you! One-on-one, one-to-many, face to face, web trainings, online tutorials, and user guides: it’s all there to make sure you get the most powerful results possible from your Snap solution.  Training is provided for all new clients and new administrators. User guides and tutorials are available 24/7 to Administrators through the Content Manager.  One-on-one or one-to-many refresher courses can also be arranged for existing clients.

Ongoing Support

We want SNAP to work for you.  Technical support is included as part of your licensing agreement with us and comprises first-level diagnosis as well as second-level technical support provided by a senior Snap systems engineer. Service levels and response times are clearly outlined in the Snap Services Agreement and significant resources have been put in place to ensure we meet these commitments. We will work with you to establish a support structure that integrates with your existing business processes (i.e., you may want an internal helpdesk person to be the first port of call for queries, or you may want to allow all administrators to contact the Cut-Through support desk directly…).

Addition of Company-specific Templates into Snap

The Snap Solution comes with standard templates for each Snap Tool. However, we can apply your design like a ‘skin’ to the Snap Templates to personalize them for your organization. Loading display formats from graphics you supply as image files (e.g. jpeg, gif, psd) requires integration of the graphics into specific kernels associated with Snap Template functionality and display.  We provide this service for a minimal additional fee (see pricing page for details).

Design of Company-specific Templates

Our Graphic Designers can create compelling, visually-appealing templates for you that match your company’s look, feel and design guidelines.  They can also turn your messages into a dynamic flash or html format for uploading into the Snap Tools. (See pricing page for details.)

Outsourcing of Snap Administration

If you are stretched for resource, we can recommend to you some highly-talented internal communications professionals, ready and able to manage the deployment of your messages, leaving you to focus on strategy and content. 

Customization of Snap Tools

Once they begin using the Snap Tools, some clients ask us to create additional functionality or new options (i.e., allow staff to post comments in the SnapMag in response to articles).  We are able to accommodate almost any request and charge for software development based on resources the work requires. Once we have discussed and pinpointed your requirements, our software developer will write the code, provide you with the beta version to test on a smaller scale, and then deploy out to your organization.  For more detailed information, please contact us.
